新年回顧與展望

”Happy Chinese New Year！”新年又到了！美語叔叔Henry，跟您分享過去一年的心路歷程，並送出暖暖的祝福和問候喔！

Dear Friends

     Uncle Henry here wishing all of you the very best health and fortune in this coming year of the Rabbit! I’ve had perhaps the most exciting year of my life in 2010, because I got the chance to learn how to be a father. I’ve grown so much along with my baby girl Charlie, and to all of the Mommies and Daddies out there…”Yes, I know, I know, I felt like crying a few times too.” I think having this wonderful experience will help me so much here at World Family, and in almost everything in life. I am looking forward to Summer Camp and share parenting notes with all of the Moms and Dads. The funny thing is, I used to think I understood kids after meeting as many as I have in the last 11 years, but you never see them the same way once you have one yourself. I still like to sing “The Thank You Song” to Charlie as much as I can, because she is the one that truly taught me what “Love” is really about. All the best in this next year, I love you all!

親愛的朋友們

    Henry叔叔在此祝大家有個健康、順心的兔年! 2010年是令我無比雀躍的一年，因為我當了爸爸！今年我和女兒Charlie一同成長了許多，在此向所有的父母說：「有好幾次我忙的快哭了，所以你們的辛苦我都能瞭解！」我認為當爸爸的美好體驗，不但有助於在寰宇家庭的工作，也有助於生活中的每一件事，因此十分期待在全美語夏令營和你們分享育兒經驗。有趣的是，曾經我以為自己非常瞭解小孩，因為這11年我累積了無數和孩子們相處的經驗；但真正成為爸爸後，對孩子的想法卻一切都不同了！現在我常常唱”The Thank You Song”給Charlie聽，因為是她讓我瞭解真正的「愛」。最後祝福各位明年心想事成，愛你們的Henry!
